The term "drag" refers to the performance of exaggerated masculinity, femininity, or other forms of gender expression, usually for entertainment purposes. While not always the case:  drag queen is someone who performs femininity and a drag king is someone who performs masculinity

Attendees are encouraged to bring anything in person they would like to discuss such as their personal wigs, outfits or make-up.

Accessibility: FAHASS Pride Center is on the first floor and is handicapped accessible. This is a seated event.  Masks are not required for those fully vaxxed + boosted and encouraged for those who are not. Fredericksburg Pride is happy to accommodate American Sign Language interpreting services if needed - please request this within two weeks of the event by emailing us at fredericksburgpride@gmail.com so that we may have adequate time to schedule an interpreter on site
